Senior Designer
Base pay range: CA $65,000.00/yr - CA $75,000.00/yr

This role elevates our Web & Creative Services team. You will define the visual strategy that drives conversion and deliver high‑fidelity designs for internal initiatives and client marketing campaigns. You will work cross‑functionally with Developers, Project Managers, and stakeholders to bridge the gap between aesthetic excellence and performance metrics.

We are seeking a designer who embodies the future of the industry—someone who seamlessly integrates traditional design principles with advanced Figma expertise and the efficiency of AI‑augmented workflows.

What You Will Do

Visual Branding:  Develop, maintain, and evolve comprehensive Brand Guidelines for Search Kings and key clients, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints (web, video, and print).

Campaign Creative:  conceptualize and execute visually stunning advertising creative (static and motion) that breaks through the noise of modern feeds.

Future‑Proof Workflows:  Champion the use of Figma, Adobe Products and AI integration. You will utilize AI to align design tokens with development, ensuring that your creative vision is perfectly translated into code without manual friction.

Key Qualifications
Creative & Brand Mastery

Brand Systems Architecture:  Portfolio demonstrating the creation and maintenance of robust brand guidelines, building a visual language that scales across different media (digital, print, event, merch).

Visual Storytelling:  Strong background in art direction, typography, and colour theory, with the ability to evoke emotion through design.

Trend Fluency:  Stay ahead of the curve in the design world and articulate why a design looks "dated" versus "modern".

Technical Innovation

Figma + AI:  Comfortable working in a modern, AI‑assisted pipeline, using AI in tandem with Figma to bridge creative intent and front‑end implementation (managing design tokens, checking feasibility, prototyping interactions). Tools like Cursor and Microsoft Clarity guide design decisions.

Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud:  High‑level proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.

Professional Leadership

Communication:  Explain a creative concept to a client or stakeholder with passion and clarity.

Project Management:  Manage multiple creative lanes simultaneously, switching between branding and web projects.

Attention to Detail:  Notice fine details such as a logo being 2px off‑center, valuing polish and craftsmanship.

Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Delivery of high‑quality, well‑tested work in a timely manner.

An understanding of what makes a design attractive from a customer’s perspective.

Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high‑quality design solutions.
