As a Copywriter at The Pub, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our clients’ campaigns. In partnership with an Art Director, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and execute concepts that span video production, print, and broadcast. Your ability to think conceptually and deliver high-quality visual solutions will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities- Develop creative concepts for integrated campaigns across video, print, social media, and digital
- Works on multiple projects simultaneously and delivers on client expectations and meets objectives consistently
- Collaborate with the Co-Creative Director and creative team to translate creative concepts into compelling campaigns for our clients
- Oversee the production of video content, including storyboarding, directing, and collaborating with production teams to ensure high-quality output.
- Good understanding of budgeting and scheduling.
- In partnership with an Art Director, create visually compelling and strategically sound designs for print materials, including brochures, posters, and other marketing collateral.
- Develop engaging social media content that aligns with clients' brand identities and marketing objectives.
- Work closely with art directors, designers, and account managers to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
- Present creative concepts and campaigns to clients, effectively communicating the strategic rationale behind your work.
- Post-secondary education in copywriting, journalism, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in a copywriter role, preferably within an advertising agency environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work.
- Excellent conceptual thinking and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality, impactful work. - Analytical skills to evaluate creative approach, and seek unexpected, original and innovative ideas.
