As part of the Editorial team, you will engage in critical support tasks essential to the global series publishing program. You’ll be responsible for everything from initial manuscript screenings to assisting with copy editing, ensuring all projects run smoothly. Ideal for aspiring publishing professionals, this role cultivates important skills in metadata management and editorial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial screenings of manuscripts and queries
• Assist in preparing reader reports and revision letters
• Review manuscripts and author changes for accuracy
• Create documents for cover designs and metadata
• Handle requests from authors and agents
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Humanities is required
• Previous administrative work experience
• Diploma in publishing is considered an asset
• One-year experience in publishing preferable
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
