Position: AntaraLoka Summer Artist Mentor
Empower youth artists this summer with Antara Loka as an Artist Mentor. Join a mission-driven initiative, mentoring emerging creatives in their artistic journey while fostering social change.

Antara Loka is seeking experienced artists and creative professionals for the ALEAP program during July and August. As a mentor, you'll guide a small cohort of young artists, providing essential industry insights and feedback on their projects.

Your role will include facilitating impactful mentorship sessions both online and in person, culminating in a final showcase that highlights their growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead 4-6 emerging artists within the ALEAP program

• Facilitate weekly mentorship sessions (1.5 hours each)

• Provide portfolio reviews and constructive feedback

• Share knowledge about industry pathways and experiences

• Assist mentees in preparing for their final showcase

Requirements:

• Strong background in visual arts or related fields

• Demonstrated professional artistic experience

• Excellent communication and mentorship skills

• Passion for nurturing emerging talent

• Located within the Greater Toronto Area
