Salary Range: $41.20 - $47.57
Starting Salary: $41.20;
Progression through the payband is in accordance with the increments in the payband as outline in the Full-Time Support Staff Collective Agreement based on actual service in the payband.
The Marketing and Communications department consists of Creative Services, Communications, and Marketing.
The Creative Services and Special Projects team captures Humber events and initiatives through photo and video work. The team includes photographers, videographers, and content creators to support Faculties and Departments through creative storytelling.
The Communications team produces and shares stories and information about Humber with the Humber community and the world through media relations, social media, internal communications, corporate storytelling, and issues management. The work of this team supports student recruitment, informs, and engages current student and faculty audiences, institutional stakeholders and partners, alumni, and the local community.
Humber's marketing team leads institutional marketing strategy, multichannel advertising, brand strategy and stewardship, with a strong focus on driving recruitment through awareness and preference building. The team provides strategic consultation throughout the institution, supporting both ongoing operations and project-specific needs.
About The Graphic Designer RoleUnder the direction of Marketing and Communications leadership, the Graphic Designer serves as Humber’s lead visual communications specialist, providing strategic art direction, visual planning, and execution of institution-wide graphic design initiatives for both internal and external audiences. The position is responsible for developing high-impact, accessible visual communications, including photography and event-related visuals, that advance Humber’s institutional priorities, strengthen public reputation, support enrolment objectives, and meet legislative accessibility obligations.
