Position: Full-Time Assistant Editor
Join MDPI Canada as a full-time Assistant Editor in our Toronto office. This in-office role is designed for recent graduates passionate about supporting scientific publication.

As an entry-level Assistant Editor, you will assist in the publication process of academic research journals. The position requires fluency in Spanish and English, with demonstrated experience in publishing peer-reviewed articles. You will coordinate the peer review process, ensure editorial decisions are made smoothly, and connect with various teams to achieve publication goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the editorial workflow for academic journals

• Manage the organization of peer review submissions

• Maintain communication with authors and reviewers

• Work collaboratively within editorial and production teams

• Guarantee the timely publication of scholarly articles

Requirements:

• Master's degree in relevant field required

• Proven experience in peer-reviewed publications

• Full professional fluency in Spanish and English

• Advanced skills in MS Office applications

• Strong organizational and communication skills
