This opportunity, based in Downtown Toronto, runs for four months starting January 6, focusing on user-centered methodologies and collaboration with developers and product managers. You will engage with Figma to design components, verify implementations, and participate in quality audits—ensuring the final products meet high usability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Audit component library and propose improvements
• Create detailed components in Figma adhering to guidelines
• Support the design-to-code handoff process
• Verify Storybook implementations for functionality
• Document necessary details not covered in design files
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a product design or HCI program
• Portfolio reflecting design decisions and processes
• Familiarity with Figma design tool
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS principles
• Interest in accessibility and AI-assisted design
