Senior Product Designer, Customer
This role is eligible for our hybrid work model:
Two days in-office. Based in our Toronto office.
Hybrid working model: two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
Why this job's a big deal:
Travel is inherently complex. Using our product shouldn't be. At Priceline, real-world user data guides our design choices, and AI is in every part of our workflow, so you'll get from early concept to testable experience faster than ever. That leaves your time for core UX: uncovering insights, architecting seamless flows, and solving hard product problems.
This is a senior seat with serious ownership:
Customer Growth helps Priceline build lasting relationships from the very first hello.
If you're a strategic, tech-forward designer who loves untangling hard problems, actively experiments with emerging tools, and pairs that speed with an exacting eye for quality and taste, this role was built for you.
In this role you will get to:- Partner with Product to define strategy and manage stakeholders across teams and journeys.
- Own end-to-end journeys within Customer Growth, across the several teams that touch it, and make them hold together on responsive web, iOS, and Android.
- You'll go from problem framing to high-fidelity prototypes and specs, designing the hard parts, not just the happy path.
- Bring a sharp eye for hierarchy and a talent for making dense pages feel light.
- You visibly raise the quality bar in your area, and you know when breaking a pattern is the right call and can defend it.
- Use AI tools (we use Claude) throughout your process so your throughput is genuinely different: a testable prototype in hours rather than a sprint.
- Check everything it gives you, and own every final UX decision you ship.
- Turn a vague request into a clear problem, and get Product and Engineering agreed on it before you start designing.
- Know which constraints are real and which are assumed, and bring Engineering in early enough to shape the work.
- Conduct lightweight usability testing and user interviews independently, while partnering with Research on foundational studies.
- Turn research findings into meaningful product changes, ensuring the "voice of the customer" is the loudest voice in the room.
- Contribute patterns to Horizon, our design system, with their states, variants, accessibility notes, and reasoning, then get other teams actually using them, so every team can build faster on shared standards.
- Help design the test, not just the screen in it. Bring the hypothesis, the metric that should move, the metric that mustn't get worse, and what result would make you drop the idea.
Who you are:
You have 5+ years of Product/UX design experience, with a portfolio that shows end-to-end ownership of complex, multi-step digital products, including at least one project where AI was materially part of how you worked. Comfortable working across multiple platforms, web, iOS and Android. You use AI across your design lifecycle and can show us where, in the files: what you generated, what you overrode, and one thing it got plausibly wrong that you caught.
You're at home in an experimentation culture. You form a hypothesis before you ship, you know what a guardrail metric is for, and you'd rather be proven wrong in two weeks than go unchallenged for a year. You don't just design screens; you decide which problem is worth designing for, get your partners aligned on it, and turn down work that won't change anything.
You change minds by building the demo, bringing the proof, and picking the moment. You can lose an argument without sulking and come back with better evidence. You design for edge cases as a matter of…
