At the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), you will be essential in managing claims registration, assisting injured workers, and educating users about the WSIB processes. This role provides opportunities for continuous learning and a chance to contribute to improving the claims experience for all stakeholders involved. Key Responsibilities:
• Register claims for various types including Serious Injury and Traumatic Mental Stress
• Conduct detailed searches for participant verification
• Clarify information by communicating with workplace parties
• Address registration inquiries in a call-center setting
• Guide users through the WSIB's online service offerings
Requirements:
• Completion of high school plus specialized courses or certification
• Prior experience of at least 1.5 years in customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively in English;
French bilingualism preferred
• Strong attention to detail in claims documentation
• Trustworthy in handling sensitive client information
