Join the City of Toronto as a Part Time Room Attendant, ensuring smooth operations across various venues.
Your role includes setting up meeting spaces, assisting events, and delivering exceptional customer service.
This temporary position encompasses 7 openings, with schedules varying throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in event set up and maintenance, using equipment like AV systems, and delivering high-quality customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and arrange furniture for meetings and events
• Operate AV and sound equipment as needed
• Monitor events and provide assistance to clients
• Perform cleaning duties in public spaces and meeting areas
• Liaise with clients regarding event facilitation
Requirements:
• Experience in customer service with the public
• Able to lift heavy items (up to 43 kg)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of safety regulations in event settings
• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence class “G” is an asset
