This position involves onsite training at our Scarborough office, followed by a hybrid working schedule. You will be responsible for contacting consumers, answering account inquiries, and negotiating repayment terms. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to efficiently update account information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contact consumers to collect overdue accounts
• Negotiate repayment terms effectively with consumers
• Update consumer account information accurately
• Document call results clearly for tracking
• Adhere to security policies and relevant laws
Requirements:
• Experience in collections or debt recovery roles
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Acute computer skills for documentation
• High-speed internet with an ethernet connection
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
Use your communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage collections in this role.
