Position: Customer Service Advisor for Indigenous Appeals
Engage with the community as a Customer Service Representative at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, specializing in support for Indigenous parties. Deliver insights and assistance across multiple communication platforms.

As a key contact at WSIAT, you will provide first-level responses and information service concerning the appeals process for Indigenous clients. This role demands excellent organizational skills and a passion for fostering a culturally safe environment. You’ll handle calls, emails, and in-person inquiries efficiently, ensuring respectful and knowledgeable support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate culturally sensitive navigation for Indigenous appeal processes

• Document inquiries and ensure accurate information flow

• Manage communications and redirect calls as needed

• Assist self-represented parties in understanding procedures

• Ensure meeting room logistics are effectively organized

Requirements:

• Insight into Indigenous cultures and experiences

• Understanding of WSIAT procedures is beneficial

• Competency in using call-centre and case management tools

• Ability to effectively communicate across various mediums

• Strong skills in maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
