Position: Assistant Manager - Visitor Experience at AGO
Lead the Visitor Welcome team at the Art Gallery of Ontario as a temporary part-time Assistant Manager. This role involves managing membership sales and delivering exceptional visitor support.

As part of the Visitor Experience team, you will oversee day-to-day visitor services, assigning tasks, and managing staff and volunteers. You will drive membership sales, renewals, and upgrades while addressing customer needs and coordinating with various departments to enhance service delivery. Your leadership will support the gallery's mission to provide a welcoming atmosphere for over one million annual visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Visitor Welcome staff in service delivery

• Oversee Front-of-House Membership program and sales

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues

• Coordinate Visitor Welcome Volunteer Program activities

• Maintain database accuracy and reporting

Requirements:

• 2+ years of managerial experience in customer service

• Knowledge of ticketing and membership systems

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience implementing best practices in visitor services

• Familiarity with Tessitura and Microsoft Office Suite
