Overview
Annual Student Role Are you a bilingual goal oriented individual seeking to thrive in the insurance industry? Do you have a passion for continuous learning and delivering outstanding customer service? Beneva Insurance is seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Annual Student to work in a call center type setting, providing excellent customer service to clients both over the phone and written, in regards to their health and wellness claims.
SalaryRange
32$/hr
Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls from customers related, but not limited to their policies and technical issues while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Resolve customer issues in a timely manner while maintaining our service level agreements.
- Adjudicate health and wellness claims based on each group's guidelines.
- Provide clients with recommendations regarding Beneva services and products.
- Understand the various federal and provincial government health related programs to accurately answer requests and/or refer the insured to the appropriate resources.
- Create, maintain and revise customer profiles and history.
- Perform necessary research to respond to various requests coming by phone or written correspondence.
- Communicate and work with other departments to obtain necessary information.
- Participate in continuous training to maintain and update knowledge and ensure accurate information is provided to customers.
- Interpret customer requests and needs to provide management with suggestions for improvement.
- Participate in group activities organized by management.
- Perform other duties upon request.
- Passionate about customer service and offering an outstanding service experience.
- Excellent command of both written and oral English and French.
- Ability to work under the pressure of key performance indicators.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Active listener.
- Adaptability to a changing, fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible shifts from 8am to 8pm.
- Passion for continuous learning.
Annual Students are required to work 35 hours when not in school, a minimum of 21 hours during spring break and reading week, and 14 hours a week when in school, including two evenings and Friday evenings.
