Position: Sales, Marketing & Event Rental Assistant )

Overview

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Sales, Marketing & Event Rental Assistant to support our growing event rental and décor business. This is a dynamic, hands‑on role that combines sales, marketing, customer service, administration, rental operations, and event support. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities in a fast‑paced workplace.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, text, and social media.
  • Assist customers with rental selections and provide product recommendations.
  • Prepare quotes, invoices, contracts, and process bookings.
  • Follow up with customer inquiries and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Create and schedule social media content and online marketplace listings.
  • Assist with maintaining the company website and rental catalog.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, filing, scheduling, and data entry.
  • Prepare, inspect, clean, package, and organize rental inventory.
  • Load and unload rental items for customer pickups and returns.
  • Assist with event setup.
  • Help assemble décor items, backdrops, and event displays.
  • Support inventory counts and quality control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily business operations.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
  • Sales, retail, customer service, or event industry experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Valid G driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset.
  • Availability to work weekdays, with occasional evenings and weekends during busy event periods.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
