Engage with the community as a Program Assistant at the Royal Ontario Museum, enhancing public programs and fostering lifelong learning. This part-time role focuses on creating a welcoming environment for diverse visitors.
At ROM, you will be part of the Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning team. You will ensure public programs run smoothly by supporting event logistics, managing materials, and guiding speakers.
Your role will help activate the museum as a space for connection and learning, creating positive experiences for all program attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver a welcoming entry experience for program guests
• Assist with logistics for workshops and talks
• Respond to visitor queries and concerns
• Manage program materials and coordination
• Provide administrative support to the engagement team
Requirements:
• One year of post-secondary education in a related field
• Two years of customer-facing experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
