As a Member Services Representative, you will be joining a team of highly engaged financial service professionals who are dedicated to providing an exceptional Member Experience. In this role you will attend to our Members with excellence, patience, and empathy while positioning Meridian’s products and services to add value to our Members' financial wellbeing.
- Demonstrate passion for Member Experience and ensure Meridian exceeds Member expectations.
- Work with internal partners—Wealth, Small Business, Mobile Mortgage Specialists—to deliver value‑added member‑centric products and solutions.
- Highly engaged team player working cooperatively with peers within the branch and across Meridian.
- Effective communication and respect for diverse opinions.
- Develop clear, measurable goals aligned with business priorities.
- Act as a trusted partner and build internal relationships across Member Experience teams and cross‑functional departments.
- Participate and lead branch activities to expand Member relationships, including Digital Ambassador Program.
- Deliver an exceptional Member experience and continuously grow Member Experience.
- Serve Members with excellence, demonstrate patience, empathy, and consultative skills.
- Promote products and services where appropriate, providing qualified referrals.
- Ensure accurate and timely transaction posting, maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Identify and grow Member relationships, removing systemic barriers.
- Leverage virtual technology platforms for impactful communication.
- Participate in community engagement plan, promote Meridian in local events, and support community programs.
- Flexible to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and ability to make decisions decisively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, writing, and oral skills; mitigate and resolve Member Concerns.
- Effective organizational time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
- Embrace virtual technology platforms used by Members and partners.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop plans and recommendations supporting strategic objectives.
- Bring innovative ideas and stay current with market trends.
- Member‑focused with enthusiasm and tenacity to exceed goals.

- High School diploma or relevant work experience.
This role represents an existing vacancy. Internal candidates are being considered as part of our standard process.
Salary Range: CAD $45,000 – $54,000 annually

This role is located in office at our Morningside Branch located at 797 Milner Ave., Unit #100 (Milner & Morningside), Scarborough, ON M1B 3C3.
