The Key Account Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Key Accounts team by coordinating customer orders, communication, and issue resolution. This role works closely with internal branches across Ontario to ensure timely order processing, accurate documentation, and effective communication between customers and internal teams.
Supports day‑to‑day account operations by assisting with customer service activities, transaction processing, and accurate data management. Suited for a detail‑oriented and organized individual looking to develop experience in customer account coordination within a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
Provide responsive and professional support to assigned key accounts
Assist customers with general inquiries regarding products, orders, and services
Act as a first point of contact for basic account‑related questions and requests
Enter and process customer orders, quotes, and returns accurately in the system
Support the coordination of order fulfillment, including liaising with branches and internal teams
Help track order status and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders
Ensure quoted pricing is correctly reflected on sales orders
Collaborate with branch teams to support scheduling of deliveries and pickups
Assist in gathering product information from suppliers and internal departments
Support communication between sales, operations, purchasing, and branch teams
Maintain regular communication with customers to provide updates and support
Assist in relaying product information and general guidance as directed by the Key Accounts team
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members as needed
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and account details
Support documentation and data entry to ensure system accuracy
Assist in organizing account‑related information for the Key Accounts team
Requirements
Experience in a customer service or administrative support role
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
Willingness to learn product knowledge and industry concepts
Experience in building supply, construction, or distribution environments is an asset
