Pediatric Dental Hygienist

We are a pediatric specialty clinic looking for a Dental hygienist to join our fabulous team at Toronto Kids Dental!

The ideal applicant will be energetic, loves working with children, and a team player. No experience necessary, willing to train the right candidate.

Saturdays, schedule can be discuss upon application process.

Requirements and

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma from an accredited college
• Registered with the College of Dental Hygienist of Ontario (CDHO)
• Valid CPR Certification
• Experience taking radiographs is preferred
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to problem solve
• Experience with Dentrix is considered an asset
• Engage and create a positive environment for both children and their families

Job Description

• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, polishing consistent with the guidelines of CDHO, fluoride, oral hygiene instruction
• Appropriately develop hygiene treatment plans and effectively communicate to patients and their families
• Oral health education and instruction for all patients
• Provide a consistent patient experience during each hygiene visit
• Communicate all finding to our doctors on site
• Eager to learn and adapt to new technology
