Experienced Endodontic Assistant (Level II)

Downtown Toronto, ON | $28–$37/hour (based on experience) | Full‑time | No weekends Monday–Friday | Starting ASAP

About Us

River Street Endodontics is a boutique, privately owned specialty practice located in downtown Toronto. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care in a calm, professional, and supportive environment. We are currently seeking an experienced, proactive dental assistant for chairside and administrative support.

This role is ideal for a reliable Level II assistant with endodontic experience who values teamwork, and long‑term career growth as this position may grow into a management role.

Qualifications (Required – Please Apply Only If You Meet These)
  • Minimum 2 years of specialty endodontic assisting experience.
  • Level II Dental Assistant Certification (Ontario).
  • Valid HARP certification.
  • Up‑to‑date IPAC training.
  • Up‑to‑date CPR certification.
  • Strong understanding of endodontic procedures, materials, and workflow.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical setting.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • Able to commute reliably to Downtown Toronto (proximity or dependable transportation strongly preferred).
Key Responsibilities
  • Chairside assisting during all endodontic procedures.
  • Operatory setup, turnover, and workflow efficiency.
  • Preparation and maintenance of instruments, materials, and equipment.
  • Taking and processing digital radiographs.
  • Strict adherence to IPAC and sterilization protocols.
  • Ensuring patient comfort and delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Accurate transcription of doctor’s clinical notes.
  • Preparing and sending patient correspondence and referral letters.
  • Ordering and maintaining clinical inventory.
  • Assist with front desk duties when needed (phones, scheduling, patient check‑in/out).
  • Supporting administrative tasks as required.
