The team at Johnstone Periodontics located in Toronto, Ontario is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant on a full-time temporary basis.

The ideal CDA/RDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

We’re a fast-paced, specialty practice with a fun, supportive team and zero drama. No evenings. No weekends. We’re currently hiring for a maternity leave position, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role.

• 38 - 40 hours per week
• Days of the week - Monday - Friday
• Temporary contract start and end months (Feb or March 2026 - June 2027)

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
• Registered or in process of registering with the:
• Ontario Dental Assistant Association
• New graduates welcome
• We are also open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s)
• 1 year of experience is preferred
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Optimicro Dental Ware is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset
