This position within a mission-driven dental team involves delivering reduced-cost services to a diverse community. The Associate Dentist will execute comprehensive dental examinations and treatments, ensuring patient safety and clinic functionality. Collaboration with the dental team and adherence to standards of care are vital aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform complete oral examinations and formulate treatment plans
• Prescribe treatments and manage local anesthesia procedures
• Operate dental x-ray machine and monitor infection control
• Oversee dental assistants and supervise students
• Maintain clinic equipment and safety standards
Requirements:
• Degree in Dentistry and registered with Royal College
• 2-3 years of dental practice experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with diverse populations and health issues
• COVID-19 vaccinated for client and staff safety
