Reporting to the Director, Communications and Public Affairs, you will utilize your skills to advance strategic priorities in mental health and substance use. Your responsibilities will include conducting policy research, developing comprehensive materials, and representing AMHO in influential discussions. Ideal for a dedicated policy professional looking to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of annual public policy initiatives
• Analyze current policies affecting AMHO and MHA systems
• Produce evidence-based reports and presentations for leadership
• Advise on legislative and regulatory options for health improvements
• Engage stakeholders to inform AMHO's policy recommendations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field;
Master’s preferred
• Over 5 years in health economics and public policy
• Experience in health data analysis and modeling
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in your work
