Dental Assistant; Certified Level 2

Privately owned small volume endodontic practice located in the Corktown/Riverside community in downtown Toronto is seeking an experienced Certified Level 2 Chairside Dental Assistant who demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a genuine passion for patient care.

Compensation:

• $27-37 hr. based on experience and references.
• Health spending account and 3 paid sick days after probationary period.
• Free onsite parking
• Daily Scrubs and footwear provided.
• No weekends.
• ESA standards for holidays.

Schedule:

• Mon. Wed, Thurs: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
• Tuesday and Friday:
  Optional.
• Start date:
  
  August 1st or similar.

Qualifications:

• Level I and Level II assisting diploma.
• Level 2 Provincial Certification.
• Current HARP, CPR, and WHMIS certification (or provided upon hire).
• Experienced using a Lexa or M11 sterilizer.
• Minimum 3 years of chairside dental assisting experience.
• Endodontic or specialty experience preferred.
• Professional reference from a supervising dentist is required.
• Comfortable using dental software for charting, documentation, and note transcription.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare instruments and materials.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain IPAC standards.
• Take diagnostic endodontic radiographs including shift shots and position patient for CBCT.
• Transcribe doctor notes and sent out post op letters and scans.
• Manage inventory and ordering.
• Keep clinical areas organized and clean.
• Complete comfort calls and assist admins when there are no patients.
