Our small-volume practice in the Corktown/Riverside area is seeking an experienced dental assistant to strengthen our patient care team. With a structured schedule and no weekends, this position enables you to thrive professionally while enjoying life outside of work. Key skills include equipment sterilization, patient positioning for diagnostic imaging, and familiarity with dental software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare tools and equipment for dental procedures
• Ensure equipment sterilization meets IPAC standards
• Take patient radiographs and manage their positioning
• Transcribe notes and send post-operative letters
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in clinical areas
Requirements:
• Must have Level I and Level II diplomas
• Valid Level 2 Provincial Certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Comfortable with dental software for records
• Professional reference required from a supervising dentist
