Dental Assistant I or II

Join a busy Oral Surgery office in midtown Toronto as a Dental Assistant I or II, working four days a week. This role emphasizes surgical assistance, implant knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant, either Level I or II, with a strong background in surgical assisting preferred. You'll be using your leadership and multitasking abilities while ensuring smooth operations at our Yonge & St. Clair location. Key responsibilities will include assisting with various oral surgery procedures and maintaining infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with wisdom tooth extractions and implant placements

• Follow sterilization and infection control protocols

• Take imaging and position patients for X-rays

• Operate a Trios intraoral scanner

• Coordinate surgical treatment plans effectively

Requirements:

• Level I or II Dental Assistant Certification

• Previous experience in surgical assisting preferred

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Ability to learn quickly and work independently

• Knowledge of implant systems like Straumann and Nobel
