Dental Hygienist at Bay and Bloor

Join a vibrant dental office at Bay and Bloor as a Dental Hygienist. This part-time position focuses on patient care every Tuesday and Wednesday, emphasizing hygiene practices.

The ideal candidate is a registered Dental Hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario and at least one year of experience. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments and essential hygiene tasks, while also ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role includes various critical responsibilities to maintain a clean and efficient practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove stains, scale, and perform root planning

• Conduct new patient assessments with comprehensive exams

• Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments properly

• Administer polishing and fluoride treatments efficiently

• Prepare patients for various dental procedures

Requirements:

• Must be a registered member of CDHO

• At least 1 year of experience in dental hygiene

• Familiarity with digital radiography

• Ability to chart and update patient histories

• Commitment to patient care and oral hygiene education
