Job Title: Dental Administrator (University /Graduate Student Experience Opportunity).

Location: Toronto, ON.

Employment Type: Part-Time.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and organized Dental Administrator to join our dental specialty office. This role is ideal for a university or graduate student planning to pursue dental school, medical school, or another graduate program who wants hands-on experience in a high-quality health care setting.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in a front-facing role, enjoys interacting with patients, and is eager to learn about the day-to-day operations of a dental specialty practice.

Hourly Wage: $18-$25/hr to start, depending on experience.

Schedule: 8-30 hours (hours and days are Flexible) minimum 1 year commitment.

  • Monday-Thursday 9-6 pm.
  • Friday 9-5:30pm.
  • Saturday 10-2 pm.

Start: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome and check in dental patients; answer phones and emails.
  • Check in and out patients.
  • Speak with patients and referring offices.
  • Social Media and Marketing support.
  • Grow and strengthen referral base.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently and manage daily workflow.
  • Submit dental insurance claims and assist with pre-authorizations.
  • Maintain digital dental charts and office records.
  • Send post-op letters and updates to referring dental offices.
  • Assist the team where help is needed.
  • Keep reception organized and tidy; perform light housekeeping.
Qualifications
  • University or graduate student aiming for dental, medical, or other graduate school.
  • Two professional references.
  • Prior experience in a front-facing role that is fast paced (high end restaurant/bar, dental/medical office, hospital).
  • Organized, reliable, proactive, and punctual.
  • Excellent computer skills, fast typer, answer multiple lines and take messages.
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
