We are seeking a self-motivated Dental Therapist who values strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. In this integral role, you will deliver preventive and restorative dental care, engaging with both treaty and non-treaty clients. Collaborating with schools and health organizations, you will raise awareness about dental health practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop community disease prevention strategies
• Conduct diagnostic examinations and screenings
• Perform restorative treatments restoring dental function
• Supervise dental aides and manage workload efficiently
• Ensure up-to-date compliance with Infection Control Standards
Requirements:
• Diploma in Dental Therapy, registered and in good standing
• Familiarity with Cree language is a plus
• Background working with First Nations preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must possess a valid driver's license and travel capability
