Busy Dental office in Toronto is looking for an experienced, professional Certified Dental Assistant.
POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced Certified Dental Assistant (NDAEB certification required)
- Minimum 3-5 years experience
- iTero Digital Scanner experience preferred
- Must be HARP certified
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal), tech-savvy, and highly confident using computers/dental software.
LOCATION:
Toronto (Bathurst/Bloor)
HOURS:
Monday to Friday (8-4:30, 8:30-5:30) Shifts are rotated between 2 other CDA
$27-$30 TBD depending on experience and performance
- Dental Benefits:
Comprehensive dental care is offered to all employees ona permanent contract upon successful completion of the probationary period.
- Setting up and breaking down dental operatories for scheduled procedures.
- Assisting the Dentist during procedures (restorations, extractions, comprehensive oral exams, Invisalign, crown/bridge preps, and implant restorations).
- Taking efficient, high-quality digital X-rays (including panorex) for adults and children.
- Taking dental impressions with alginate or using our iTero digital scanner.
- Fabricating custom whitening trays.
- Following strict sterilization and infection control protocols in the lab andoperatory.
- Providing exceptional patient care, helping clients understand their dental conditions and scheduled procedures.
- Assisting dental hygienists with periodontal probing and recording reading sin the charting software.
- Navigating digital dental software for seamless, paperless patient charting.
- Ensure all dental and hygiene rooms remain stocked up.
