Registered Dental Hygienist - Full Time / Part Time Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and caring Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

We have a supportive and collaborative team and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply. For us, the right attitude, personality, and commitment to patient care are equally important.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dental hygiene services, including scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and other preventive care.
  • Complete periodontal assessments, charting, and re-evaluations in accordance with CDHO standards.
  • Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and clinical photographs as required.
  • Review medical histories and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Assess and monitor patients' oral health and communicate findings to the dentist.
  • Provide individualized oral hygiene instructions and preventive care recommendations.
  • Educate patients about oral health and its connection to overall health.
  • Work collaboratively with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to provide a positive patient experience.
  • Follow all infection prevention and control protocols and applicable CDHO, public health, and health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and professional clinical environment.
  • Build positive, long-term relationships with patients through compassionate and professional care.
Qualifications
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) – required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, professional, reliable, and punctual.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous dental hygiene experience is an asset, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
