Your New RoleAs an Architect with healthcare experience, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between
senior leadership and junior staff. You’ll be joining a growing firm at a critical moment of expansion, contributing to the design and delivery of healthcare projects across Ontario. This is a strategic hire aimed at supporting long-term growth and enhancing project leadership capacity.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage healthcare architecture projects from concept throughpletion.Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering their growth and development within the firm.Act as a bridge between senior leadership and junior team members, ensuring smooth project execution and knowledge transfer.Contribute to strategic planning and help shape the future direction of the practice.Participate in the design of institutional andmercial projects as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture or equivalent.10+ years of architectural experience, ideally with a focus on healthcare or institutional projects.Licensed with OAA or eligible.Strong understanding of healthcare design principles, workflows, and client needs.Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior architects in a collaborative studio environment.Experience with BIM and sustainable design practices.Ability to lead projects and manage client relationships effectively.Background in hospitality ormercial architecture is an asset.Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a positive team dynamic.What You'll Get in ReturnPerformance-based bonusesTwo weeks’ vacation (negotiable)Healthcare perks include physiotherapy and pharmacy discountsOpportunity to work in a growing, stable firm with a strong pipeline of healthcare projects.Inclusive and supportive team culture with long-term career growth potential.
