. The Tim Horton’s design team is looking for a design project manager to implement Tim Horton’s new design image and oversee creation of site‑specific solutions across a network of external architectural consultants.
- Collaborate with Architectural Consultants on adapting and applying design standards to specific projects that modernize the brand and improve the guest experience.
- Draw and sketch space planning, exterior and interior concept elevations/renderings.
- Present and work directly with franchises to review and edit schematic designs and guide them through the design development process.
- Develop and present conceptual and schematic design ideas that push the brand image forward; formulate solutions for a variety of business needs with consultants.
- Participate in meetings with consultants and executives to understand and respond to a wide range of projects and project types.
- Review and approve prototypical shop drawings and/or physical samples from vendors (millwork, furniture, materials, artwork, graphics).
- Collaborate with Design Teams, suppliers, consultants and internal departments (Construction, Operations, Real Estate, Procurement, etc.) on specific project/specification requirements.
- Limited travel to meet and collaborate with consultants, suppliers, and review execution in new/test markets.
- Post‑secondary education in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Five or more years’ experience in architecture or interior design, design development, space planning, rendering, drafting and presentations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2018 or newer), Sketch Up or other 3D modeling/rendering software, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Design experience in retail and/or restaurant industry development.
- Experience managing design consultants and clients.
Base salary range: $ – $. Salary may vary based on relevant factors such as experience, education, location, and skills. This position is eligible to participate in the company’s annual discretionary bonus plan and may also be eligible for equity grants through the long‑term incentive plan. WorkSchedule
RBI follows a five‑day, in‑office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite five days per week.
