Studio JCI Inc. is a dynamic firm providing full Architectural and Interior Design services for commercial and residential sectors. We approach our work with rigour and intensive study, from aesthetic concepts and market feasibility to functional programming and building performance. We are conveniently located near Sheppard West Station.

We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented INTERMEDIATE-SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER to join our team. You are growth-minded & bring seasoned experience in conceptualizing interior spaces, and developing and executing drawings and specifications. You possess a superb attention to detail and are able to work as part of a team to deliver successful project execution.

• Be involved in design concept and modelling of interior spaces, preparation of client presentations, coordination and preparation of tender drawings
• Preparation of details, FFE and specifications
• Developing suite layouts and residential amenity spaces
• Product research and selection of interior finishes
• Working with the client and architectural teams to ensure design continuity between interior and exterior spaces
• Site visits to review installation of finishes

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from a recognized institution
• 6 to 10 years professional experience
• Good understanding of the relationship between drawings and specifications
• Excellent time management skills for yourself and your team
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects
• Excellent visual and graphic presentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Sketch Up, Autodesk software (AutoCAD & Revit), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & InDesign), 3D rendering software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Revu Bluebeam an asset.
