Job DescriptionRegional Lead (GTA) – Landscape Architecture and Urban Design. The role reports to the National Sector Lead for Landscape Architecture and Urban Design and to the Managing Principal of Architecture
49 in the GTA.
- Manage and grow the landscape and urban design group in the GTA area.
- Collaborate internally and externally with Landscape Architects, Architects, Engineers and Planners. Mentor intern landscape architects in the GTA office.
- Develop creative technical solutions.
- Prepare and review conceptual design, design development and construction documents, including details and specifications.
- Manage multiple projects, budgets, and effectively meet deadlines.
- Prepare and review design briefs, cost estimates and technical reports.
- Manage client and stakeholder expectations, consultant coordination and approvals.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with local standards and contract requirements.
- Assist with contract administration and site inspections.
- Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a registered Landscape Architect.
- Member of OALA and CSLA.
- Preference given to candidates with knowledge of people management, project management and business development.
- Bilingual (English and French) considered an asset.
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $110,600 – $146,500
- MB & ON: $100,900 – $139,000
- NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $99,900 – $132,700
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs. The wage range provided in this posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
