Junior Interior Designer

Position: Junior Interior Designer with BGIS
Join BGIS as a Junior Interior Designer delivering innovative space layouts and design solutions. Collaborate on interior design projects while honing skills in AutoCAD and 3D modeling.

In this full-time role, you will support the Senior Workplace Strategist and team members in gathering information and planning functional spaces. Your responsibilities will include developing stacking plans, creating detailed room data sheets, and ensuring compliance with building codes. Work closely with internal staff and clients to enhance project outcomes and deliver exceptional design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support information gathering and functional planning activities

• Develop space requirements workbooks and blocking plans

• Create functional layouts using AutoCAD

• Render designs and work drawings to assist presentations

• Perform site measurements and compliance checks

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of interior design experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketch Up

• Knowledge of LEED and WELL standards

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• BAID degree or equivalent program
