Position Overview
Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is at the forefront of architectural design. Our team specialises in designing world‑class transportation facilities, sports and entertainment venues, and other large‑scale projects. The Toronto office serves as the central hub for innovation, creativity, and architectural excellence, shaping both urban and suburban landscapes across the GTA.
Responsibilities- Lead a team to produce architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
- Manage a group of architectural staff, lead project meetings, and coordinate all other building disciplines on multidisciplinary projects.
- Perform internal reviews and quality checks of models and drawings to ensure compliance with BIM standards.
- Research materials, products and technologies required for the design and incorporate them into details, specifications and other documents.
- Oversee a team of consultants and client communication.
- Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both internal and external client needs are met and that projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets.
- Manage the financial aspects of the project including planning, scheduling, forecasting, staffing, and working with accounting to achieve desired results.
- Travel to remote First Nation communities and work sites.
- Registered architect in Ontario (OAA), or eligibility to be registered.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with both provincial and national standards and codes.
- Knowledge of BIM principles and workflows, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365 and Bluebeam.
- Experience with visualization software and Adobe Creative Suite considered an asset.
- Experience or desire to work with Indigenous communities considered an asset.
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $110,600 - $146,500
MB & ON: $100,900 - $139,000
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $99,900 - $132,700
The final salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, seniority, geographic location and business needs.
