Position: UI/UX Design Intern with Univeris
Join Univeris as a UI/UX Design Intern, where you'll develop UI components and enhance collaboration in a hybrid office in Toronto. Shape the design system while working closely with product teams.

As a Product Design Intern at Univeris, you will play a key role in refining the design system and ensuring scalability and consistency across products. Your responsibilities will include designing UI components in Figma, defining design tokens, and drafting guidelines for cross-team adoption. You will engage in product discussions and design reviews to ensure robust design development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create scalable UI components using Figma

• Define design tokens for uniform product appearance

• Document patterns for team-wide design use

• Work with front-end engineering on design component alignment

• Support the development of a cohesive design system

Requirements:

• Current enrollment in a design or HCI program

• Experience with UI/UX design systems

• Familiarity with Figma and front-end concepts

• Strong interest in design collaboration

• Keen attention to detail with a learning mindset
