Junior Interior Designer

Our client, an established multidisciplinary design firm, is seeking a Junior Interior Designer with a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, collaborative designer who is eager to contribute to exciting hospitality and multi‑unit residential projects while continuing to develop their professional skills.

This position is paying a salary of between $55 – $65k, depending on experience. The firm offers lots of employee perks and room for growth.

• Collaborate with the design team to develop project concepts, themes, and design solutions.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations, concept boards, material palettes, and finish selections.
• Develop drawings, elevations, perspectives, and design documentation.
• Assist in producing construction documents, including demolition, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, furniture plans, finishes, and elevations.
• Source materials, furnishings, and finishes, and liaise with suppliers and fabricators.
• Participate in project meetings and support project delivery requirements.
• Conduct site visits, field measurements, and photographic documentation.
• Support senior team members throughout all phases of design and documentation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality, hotel/spa, and/or multi‑unit residential design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign), and Microsoft Office.
• Revit experience is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code is an asset.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• ARIDO membership or eligibility is preferred.
