Creative Lead - Senior Interior Designer - Workplace
At M Moser Associates, we're looking for a passionate and visionary Senior Creative Designer to help shape exceptional workplace experiences for some of the world's leading organizations. This position is based in our Toronto office.
Position OverviewIn this role, you'll lead the creative direction of projects from concept through implementation, blending brand storytelling, workplace strategy, and innovative design to create environments that inspire people and reflect our clients' culture and values. Working alongside strategists, architects, engineers, sustainability specialists, and project leaders, you'll transform ideas into immersive workplace experiences that make a lasting impact.

Primary Responsibilities- Leading project teams and consultants to uncover integrated, innovative, and interdisciplinary solutions to design problems
- Delivering and winning design presentation opportunities on a regular basis
- Consulting with clients to establish design concepts and parameters, including how space will function, budget considerations, and aesthetic preferences
- Generating conceptual designs using a variety of graphic techniques, and work with PM to prepare preliminary cost estimates
- Guiding the work of Design Team on written specifications, working drawings, and construction documents, including verification that designs meet applicable building codes where necessary
- Establishing and maintaining trust between the project team, client and other project stakeholders
- Monitoring and maintaining a high level of design quality within the project team
- Problem-solving project design issues and applying innovative solutions
M Moser Associates is looking for an accomplished Senior Designer who can take the lead on projects, from the very first client interviews, through to project close out, including contributing to working drawings. In order to be successful in this, you must have extensive experience with the entire project lifecycle, including an exceptional knack and portfolio for delivering awe-inspiring ideas for corporate workplace clients.
You should also be a natural-born storyteller that can captivate clients, earn trust, and inspire those working with you.
- 8-15 minimum years of experience in workplace interior design or architecture
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design or another related field preferred
- Proficiency in Revit (REQUIRED), Sketch Up, AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), In Design
- Strong presence in the market, active engagement in industry events
- Impressive track record of happy clients and a portfolio of signature conceptual design work, including workplace transformation projects
- Knowledgeable in local codes, permitting and designing toward target budget while maintaining the overall quality in design thinking
- Thrives on innovation and naturally seeks out ways to enhance the project process to elevate the client experience and strengthen communication at every stage of the project.
