This opportunity is with a boutique architectural practice based in downtown Toronto, recognized for its design-driven approach across architecture, interiors, and planning. Your new role
The firm is currently seeking an Architect, Intern Architect, or Architectural Technologist with an interest in healthcare design to support a growing pipeline of impactful  this role, you will assist in the coordination and delivery of projects across all phases, from early design through to construction and close-out. You will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met while maintaining design intent and technical accuracy.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting project coordination through all phases of design, documentation, and construction
  • Preparing architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents for permit, tender, and construction
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand and deliver project requirements
  • Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project teams
  • Conducting site visits to monitor construction progress andpliance
  • Assisting with project timelines, budgets, and resource coordination
  • Staying current with architectural technologies, materials, and construction methods
    What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree in Architecture or diploma in Architectural Technology from an accredited institution (or equivalent)
  • Registration with the OAA as an Intern Architect or Architect, or actively working toward licensure
  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Exposure to healthcare, institutional, or hospitality projects is considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and design principles
  • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strongmunication, coordination, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
  • Fluency in English
