Office Interior Designer in Ontario

Bring your design expertise to the Precinct Properties Branch as an Office Interior Designer for the Ontario Legislative Assembly. This 100% on-site role involves working with heritage buildings and external consultants.

As a designer with at least three years of relevant experience, you will assist in facility management programs, uphold design standards, and maintain crucial databases. You will collaborate closely with senior team members and utilize AutoCAD for preparing detailed design packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate facility management programs for the Legislative Building

• Review and ensure quality designs meet LAO standards

• Maintain electronic databases for chamber seating and finishes

• Collaborate with clients for space planning and furniture arrangements

• Prepare scaled drawings using AutoCAD for tender packages

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in interior design or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years' experience, preferably in heritage

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and architectural documentation

• Experience managing small to medium-sized projects

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work directly with stakeholders
