Design Executive

Position: Design Executive at Trustly
Oversee Trustly’s global design strategy as a Design Executive. Transform payment experiences with a focus on leading a high-performing design team and maintaining quality standards.

In the role of Design Executive, you’ll define and uphold the design integrity for Trustly's vast product range. This position demands an expert in product design who can successfully manage and inspire a team while establishing a thriving design culture. Your involvement will span all stages of product development, ensuring user-centric design feeds back into every aspect of the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the design language and quality benchmarks for products

• Build and guide multiple design teams towards success

• Ensure the design system’s efficiency across all platforms

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering for strategic alignment

• Implement user research practices to inform design decisions

Requirements:

• 12+ years of product design experience, 4 in leadership

• Strong portfolio with demonstrated design leadership

• Deep knowledge of visual design and interaction systems

• Proven ability to cultivate design talent in fast-paced environments

• Fintech or similar experience in regulated industries
