What is the Opportunity?Aecon is seeking an Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) Co‑op to support Civil group transit projects in Canada. The role involves propelling digital design initiatives that enhance travel experiences.
What You Will Do Here:- Assist in the setup, maintenance, and management of Common Data Environments (CDE) for project teams.
- Support the creation, validation, and coordination of 3D BIM models for design, planning, and construction.
- Participate in clash detection, issue tracking, and model quality assurance activities.
- Help prepare and organize project documentation, including model content plans, LOD matrices, and dashboards.
- Contribute to digital design validation, quantity take‑off, and reporting using BIM tools.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate information exchange and digital workflows.
- Attend and support coordination meetings, taking notes and tracking action items.
- Assist with training sessions and workshops for project teams on BIM and IDD tools and processes.
- Maintain accurate records of model revisions, approvals, and project deliverables in accordance with Aecon standards.
- Support the integration of geospatial data, survey information, and technical drawings into federated BIM models.
- Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging.
- Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of BIM concepts, digital design, and construction processes.
- Familiarity with BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D) is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new digital tools and workflows.
- Ability to follow established standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Interest in digital innovation and continuous improvement in construction.
- Commitment to inclusion and diversity.

Pay Range: $23–$28 per hour
Individual pay is determined by factors such as work location, education, experience, unique skills, certifications, specialized training, and role complexity.
