The Primary Construction Team consists of ACCIONA Infrastructure Canada Inc. (ACCIONA) and Amico Major Projects Inc. (Amico), as Trillium Guideway Partners (TGP).

What is the project?

The Ontario Line (“OL”) is a fully integrated, stand‑alone, rapid transit system that connects Ontario Science Centre to the Exhibition and Ontario Place grounds. The Northern Civil, Stations and Tunnel (“NC”) project consists of approximately 7 kms of underground subway and elevated guideway, with stations along the segment providing connections to surface bus and streetcar routes. The NC project has been divided into two main progressive design‑build contracts: (1) the Elevated Guideways and Stations Contract (“EGS”) and the Pape Tunnel and Underground Station Contract (“PTUS”), with supporting Early Works.

What

is the Opportunity?

As a BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate and detailed 3D models that support the design and construction phases of infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and BIM Coordinators to ensure models are compliant with project standards and contribute to efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed 3D models using software such as Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, based on design inputs and specifications.
  • Incorporate design changes and updates into models as directed by the design team or BIM Coordinator.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving model clashes using tools like Navisworks.
  • Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and other deliverables from BIM models.
  • Ensure model data is accurate, structured, and aligned with project requirements and naming conventions.
  • Coordinate with other modelers and disciplines to ensure model consistency and integration.
  • Conduct self‑checks and participate in model reviews to maintain high‑quality outputs.
Work Conditions

Full‑time position based in the Don Mills Office, Toronto.

You’ll bring to the Team (Knowledge, Skills, Competencies)
  • Basic understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
  • Proficiency in BIM software:
    Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks.
  • Understanding BIM standards such as ISO 19650 and modeling best practices.
  • 2D and 3D documentation:
    Ability to extract accurate drawings and schedules from models.
  • Data management:
    Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDEs) like Project Wise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Asite.
  • Basic knowledge of identifying and resolving model conflicts.
  • Ability to maintain model integrity and follow naming conventions and project standards.
