Accessories Designer

Our retail client is looking for a Junior Accessories Designer to support the creation and development of proprietary product collections from concept through production. Working closely with design and cross functional teams, this role helps deliver innovative, customer focused products that meet quality standards, timelines, and cost objectives.

• Support the design and development of seasonal product collections across multiple categories.
• Create sketches, product concepts, technical specifications, and vendor tech packs.
• Manage product samples, track development timelines, and communicate revisions with vendors.
• Partner with merchandising, sourcing, and design teams to resolve product development and production issues.
• Maintain collection line plans and ensure products align with design, quality, and customer expectations.
• Research market trends and customer needs to inform product development and design decisions.
• Contribute to process improvements and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a design, retail, agency, or in house creative environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; experience with 3D modeling software is an asset.
• Strong creative, conceptual, and visual design skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills.
• Understanding of product development, retail design standards, and customer focused design principles.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required for the role.
