- You'll develop and refine retail design concepts that align with project objectives, brand standards, and technical requirements.
- In this role, you'll create detailed store layouts, interior elevations, signage packages, and supporting design documentation.
- You'll collaborate with senior designers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to identify design challenges and deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.
- You'll work closely with project managers to monitor project progress, communicate updates, and resolve design-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- You'll partner with operational teams to ensure designs are functional, efficient, and support operational requirements.
- You'll proactively identify technical or design concerns and contribute hands‑on solutions while maintaining quality standards.
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related technical discipline; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience through co-op placements, internships, academic projects, or professional work in retail or commercial design is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of building codes, design standards, and retail design best practices.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to learning and contributing in a collaborative environment.
