Senior Project Design Manager Role

Drive innovation as a Senior Project Design Manager at Certain Teed Architectural, overseeing a talented team in a hybrid setting with travel opportunities to various locations.

This leadership role emphasizes coaching a multidisciplinary team while managing custom ceiling and wall product designs. You'll handle scheduling and resource allocation, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality shop drawing validation using AutoCAD. Your collaboration with clients will enhance project outcomes and support technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and lead 89 design professionals

• Plan and review project assignments and performance

• Ensure accuracy of shop drawings and design validity

• Address design inquiries from both internal and external clients

• Implement improvements and manage external freelancers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural design or engineering

• 15+ years in commercial construction experience

• Proven leadership managing cross-functional teams

• Advanced AutoCAD knowledge;
Solid Works familiarity is a plus

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
