Arcadis is seeking an Interior Design Co-op Student to join our Design Practice team at our Toronto office.

Our design practices include corporate, residential, hospitality, institutional, retail, educational, and healthcare studios. We create innovative design solutions that respond to clients' evolving vision, corporate culture, and project success. We're located at 55 St. Clair Ave West, just steps away from St. Clair Station and is easily accessible by bike, TTC and car.

The ideal candidate will be available to work 1-2 days per week during the fall and spring academic semesters and is eager to apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment while contributing to project and team success.

Role accountabilities:
  • Support Interior Design teams by incorporating drawing and rendering markups, sourcing materials and finishes, and preparing sample and presentation boards.
  • Assist project teams across multiple phases of design and project delivery.
  • Coordinate and liaise with product manufacturers, vendors, and representatives to obtain product information, samples, and specifications.
  • Maintain and organize the product sample library and assist with the coordination of lunch-and-learn sessions and coffee breaks
  • Support the team with research into products, materials, furniture, finishes, and emerging design trends.

The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders. They demonstrate solid design capabilities and an ability to contribute to project development and technical solutions. Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite is considered an asset and will support success in preparing designs, technical documentation, and presentation materials.

Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Currently enrolled in and have completed a minimum of 2 years of an accredited Interior Design program

The salary range for this position is $20-$32/hour. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
