Job DescriptionPARTISANS is hiring an Intermediate Interior Designer to join our team.
PARTISANS is a Toronto-based, award-winning design studio working at the intersection of technology, culture, and architecture. Our work spans high-end hospitality, residential, and mixed-use developments, with projects across Canada and internationally.
We are looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer with 3-5 years of experience at major national or international design firms. This role is suited for a strong designer and highly capable technical contributor who can support projects from concept through construction documentation.
This is a full-time, Toronto-based position requiring work from PARTISANS' studio. Candidates currently based elsewhere are welcome to apply, as PARTISANS will support the successful candidate's relocation to Toronto.
Responsibilities- Support the development of interior design concepts aligned with project vision
- Contribute across all project phases, from concept design through documentation
- Prepare presentation materials, including drawings, renderings, and mockups
- Produce and coordinate drawing sets with a focus on technical accuracy and compliance
- Develop interior architectural details, including millwork, stairs, and wall and ceiling assemblies
- Assist with FF&E sourcing and specifications
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and suppliers
- Participate in client meetings and design reviews
- Support project schedules and team coordination
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in high-end residential and/or hospitality projects
- Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
- Understanding of building codes and interior design standards
- Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
